We will only accept one person per university. We will only select participants that make a presentation about one or several of the following topics:
1.GENERAL • Structure and services of Welcome Centres/Units (both for international students and staff or just for staff).
2.BEFORE ARRIVAL • Welcome Services as a tool to increase the attractiveness of the university for potential visitors. • lnnovative ways to provide information before arrival.
3.DURING STAY • Welcome Days/Weeks. • Accommodation possibilities. Strategies to face the increasing lack of accommodation. • Services/activities for families. • Buddy and mentoring programmes. • Ways to integrate the international visitors at local communities. • lntercultural competences and certificates for staff. lmportance of inter-cultural awareness and knowledge of staff to welcome international visitors. • Emotional well being. Psychological support for international students and staff.
4.DEPARTURE • lnformation before departing. • Communication plans to build and maintain an international community, during and after the mobility.
